During the epidemic, Kevin, Founder of HICC PET, noticed numerous stray animals wandering the streets without anyone to care for them. He came across a poor stray cat covered in wounds. Feeling compassion for the injured feline, he decided to adopt and rescue her, giving her the name Chestnut.
Kevin proposed a business idea: to provide convenient and healthy skin care solutions for pets and humans in the new pandemic era.

The founding team was formed, and the HICC PET company was officially established in the United States and Shenzhen. The team started research and development of the 1st product, the world's 1st Hypochlorous glove wipe, focusing on caring for pets with skin problems and providing pet parents with efficient and safe pet care solutions.

HICC PET, a brand for pet care, was born. "HICC PET" stands for "Health Innovations for Cleaner, Comfier Pets".

April—July

The brand launched its first product—hypochlorous acid glove wipes with innovative patented packaging—which was successfully released on Kickstarter. This was followed by the introduction of a second product: a hypochlorous acid spray.

After running a hundred experiments, the HICC PET ingredient, CocoPlex™ fermented coconut oil, was launched.

HICC PET made its first appearance at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, USA. At the same time, it was launched on Chewy, the largest pet online shop in the United States, and Walmart. Dr. Lowell Ackerman joined HICC Pet as Director of Veterinary Education.

HICC PET obtained the EPA registration number (EPA Company Number: 102952) issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to ensure that our products comply with U.S. environmental standards during production and processing, and are harmless to the environment, human body, and pets.

September-December

Launched on Tractor Supply, the largest store for farm and animal supplies in the United States, and on WholesalePet.com, a leading pet supply distribution website.
HICC PET's star product, the Deodorizing Pet Glove Wipes, was honored with the Pet Business 2023 Industry Recognition Award in the Dog and Cat Grooming category.

April-May

In April, the brand participated in the Northwest Grooming Show in the United States.
In May, HICC PET made its debut in Hong Kong, achieving beyond-expectation sales at the Hong Kong Premium Pet Supplies Expo.
The brand also expanded its retail presence by launching on major Hong Kong platforms HKTVmall and Fortress, as well as entering NORTH 40, the largest outdoor supply store in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S.

June

HICC PET partnered with Seattle Mariners to present three Bark at the Park events for the 2024 Major League Baseball.

July

Singapore Showroom opened. Launched in Petco, the American giant pet retailer, and Vitacost.

August

The brand made its debut at SUPERZOO in Las Vegas, North America's largest pet retail exhibition, and also appeared at the SG Pet Festival Expo, Singapore's largest pet event.

The brand debuted at the Hong Kong International Pet Expo with a themed exhibition space named "Pet Care Academy of Magic," and received 2024 Favorite Pet Brand Award by MoCity Hong Kong.
